Another reason to come to Lund on Arrival Day is that you will be able to participate in the Orientation Weeks from the start. The Orientation Weeks are filled with activities, fairs, excursions, tours and seminars, and are a great opportunity to join a mentor group and make new friends, see new places and learn more about Sweden and Lund. Orientation Lund University organises an Arrival Day each semester for new students.

If you arrive for a short-term clinical placement during the semester, you will be invited to an introduction meeting in the week prior Lund University offers an Orientation program during Arrival week which starts when arriving students are met by representatives at the Railway station on Arrival day. Upon arrival students are welcome to register for introductory Swedish language courses as well as mentor programs and more. Lund University offers a range of support services for international students including academic support, disability support, a student health centre, study advisor, and an Orientation Week. The sports, cultural, social, and faith-based organisations make student life at Lund vibrant and engaging.
