I have Aspergerâs Syndrome and I feel a lot of emotion and deep empathy. I think the issue, often not realised by others (including neuro-typicals), in many cases, is that a person on the spectrum can feel so deeply (along with his/her many fears) that much of what they do feel is bottled up, tightly in order to self-preserve from pain.
